Barbara's ability is the ability to restrain an individual and take information from them.

This ability was given to Barbara synthetically using the genetic modification formula developed by Dr. Zimmerman. In Son of Adam, Part 2 Barbara restrains Adam into an armchair causing him to only move his eyes and shuffle slightly. She then holds out her left hand and absorbs information which is shown as thin grey circles entering her hand from Adam's head.

Limits

On restraining Adam, Barbara simply needs to look at him, but requires the use of a hand to take information. It has not been seen if Barbara has complete recollection of what she has found out or if there is a limit on how much she can take in. She also used the ability to learn of Adam's hidden abilities, suggesting that deep thoughts are easily extracted too. It has yet to be seen whether she knows accurate information is or if she chooses what to learn about.
