This template (or, rather, template:imagenav) is only used on image category pages, which don't get a whole lot of traffic. The pages aren't really organized very well, they're really a dumping ground for a bunch of pictures that are categorized similarly. I don't mind a navbar that's a bit too big. I like your collapsible gallery idea better. I also am not a fan of separating the navbar into columns--rows work much better. If anything, I'd rather use a collapsible table for just the graphic novel images, since that section grows every week, even during a hiatus (heck, even during a writers strike!), whereas the episode image categories don't grow too quickly. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:30, 13 November 2008 (EST)
- I'll see if I can't switch it back to rows then, and I'll just make the GNs collapsible...(Or maybe make Epis collapsible too, but make Season 3 expanded, and 1-2 hidden. Give me a while to switch things around. Maybe that will work better. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/13/2008 10:36 (EST)
- Yeah, I'd like to see that. Send me a message when you have that done--it's getting increasingly more difficult for me to check all the recent changes, or to know what pages I need to check back on later on. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:01, 13 November 2008 (EST)
- Regarding the collapsed GN image section, I think it would be better to not have them all categorized by season. It takes up extra room, and the novels don't really fall into seasons quite as easily as the episodes do. I would divide that section into two: the bottom for the most recent 5-10 or so graphic novels, and the top for "past graphic novels". That way if somebody is looking for a previous graphic novel, they won't have to think about when it was released or click through a few seasons to find it--they can just click the "previous graphic novels" section and find what they're looking for. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:06, 13 November 2008 (EST)
