Copying information from other sites

Hey, Jenx222. Thanks for creating some new cast and crew articles. Just a reminder, though, that we should not be copying information from other sites, such as IMDb or Wikipedia. It's fine to use information from other sites, but it's not okay to copy and paste somebody else's writing. That's plagiarism. Hey, instead of typing out that signature thing to make your thing stand out every time, why don't you create a user signature, then all you do is put {{User:Jenx222/Signature}} at the end of each statement you make. --mc_hammark 19:16, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Jenx222, your signature takes up more than five lines on talk pages. You'll need to create a second signature page with a different name (like User:Jenx222/autosig) where the only thing on the page is {{User:Jenx222/sig}}. Then you'll need to go to your preferences and change the "Nickname" field to say {{SUBST:User:Jenx222/autosig}}. Thanks for replying to me :D The link is cool but what about embedding images from other sites? http://www.xxx.com/imagex.jpg or whatever. Does that work? Because that's an avatar that updates itself daily, and I thought it would be cool if it updated daily like the site :D

Sorry it took so long. I would love to do a fan fiction thing, but I can't focus my mind on any kind of fiction thing unless it's only over a period of a couple of days. Disintegration
