Any suggestions on how to improve this? -Lөvөl 02:52, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
- I'm not sure I quite get it--what is the purpose of the template? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 03:18, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
- So that all the characters from Season One are not still on for Season Two and vise versa. it would reduce the size on most characters pages, it would still be big on those that are in both seasons though (I have some other ideas that may work for that), and it would make it so we are not dragging the dead along with us. -Lөvөl 03:54, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
- So there are templates for Season 1 main, Season 2 main, Season 1 supporting, Season 2 supporting, Season 1 recurring, and Season 2 recurring? Personally, I'd say since the variable is the season (in other words, the user can only choose Season 1 or Season 2), the smaller templates should be just that: a template for all of Season 1 (which would have main, supporting, and recurring) and an template for Season 2 (again, with main, supporting, and recurring). That would cut back considerably on the code for this template, and it would make "promotions" and "demotions" a lot easier--having everybody on one template rather than 3 separate templates makes for much easier changes....Other than that, I like what you've done. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 04:21, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
- I made the changes you suggested at User:Level/Characternav2. Right now only season1 or season2 should be used, not both. I kind of wanted to have it show all seasons someone was in, but it is not necessary and would probably make it to big, especially in later seasons. Is there anything else that should be done? -Lөvөl 13:00, 12 September 2007 (EDT)
