Dark Matters is the six episode prequel of Heroes Reborn, originally exclusively on the Heroes Reborn app. The first episode became available on the app on July 9, 2015. The other five parts became available on the app on July 23. NBC released the series in full on NBC.com, YouTube, and Hulu on August 10, 2015.

Notes
- Several actors from the HeroTruther videos are credited at the end of Dark Matters. However, none of them appear in the webisode, even in the footage HeroTruther shows at the beginning of several of the webisode segments. Specifically, the actors credited who don't appear in Dark Matters are Daniel Cosentino (guy 2), Gabriel Darku (Brian), Mathew Edmondson (Johnny), John Fleming (guy 1), Evan Marsh (Jeff), Gauri Prasad (pushing woman), George Ridout (Dan), and Shay Santaiti (cameraman).
