On a video uploaded to the HeroTruther channel on YouTube, Johnny looks into the camera, confidently saying that he "got this" before turning it round to focus on his friends. Johnny records Brian lighting a cluster of fireworks in Dan's hand. When the fuse is lit, Johnny backs away and witnesses it explode, taking Dan's hand with it. Shocked, Johnny runs towards him to see if he is okay, and Dan shows him his bloody but intact middle finger while laughing. Johnny looks over at Brian, who is holding Dan's severed finger in disbelief. Another of the shocked teenagers, Jeff, says "What the f--" before the video ends.
