Dennis Collins was the son of Luke and Joanne Collins. He was killed by the catastrophic explosion on June 13, 2014.

Character History

Brave New World

At the Odessa Unity Summit, Dennis watches on as Mick the Ice Guy puts on a show. He looks up in awe as an eclipse overshadows the entire summit.

A year later, at the evo support group meeting, Luke describes to the other attendees the day that Dennis died before he and Joanne shoot the other evos.

Odessa

After Tommy teleports Luke and Joanne to a children's room in the old Primatech Paper Co. building, Luke holds up a dinosaur toy and says that it was Dennis's favorite toy.

Under the Mask

At a Master Steaks restaurant, Luke recalls spending time with Dennis at their home. When Joanne asks him where he wants to go next, Luke ponders going to Los Angeles and seeing the ocean. Joanne remembers that Dennis loved the water, and Luke recalls talking to Dennis while moving a toy yacht on water with him.

June 13th, Part One

At a hotel room, Dennis comes in contact with some sunlight. However, he has solar urticaria, a skin condition that causes him to blister and immediately burn when he comes into contact with sunlight. Luke and Joanne have an argument about going to the Odessa Unity Summit, as Luke believes they can find an evo who can cure Dennis's condition.

While at the summit, Dennis is awed by the display of powers, especially Mick the Ice Guy's ability to freeze things. Dennis separates from his parents right before the explosion. After the explosion, he is nowhere to be found. Luke searches for his son until the emergency response crew no longer allows him out in the wreckage.

Sundae, Bloody Sundae

Luke tells Malina that he and Joanne used to love taking Dennis to the movies. Dennis found farting especially funny. Later, at Moe's Ice Cream Parlor, Luke tells Joanne that killing Emily will not bring Dennis back.

11:53 to Odessa

Luke tells Noah that he and his ex-wife started hunting and killing evos because they thought that evos killed Dennis.
