Brave New World
Tommy drops his Moe's frequent buyer card at a church in Chicago. Luke and Joanne use it to find Tommy back in Carbondale.
Emily, an employee at Moe's, teases Tommy about coming to Moe's so frequently. She tells Tommy that they are hiring ice cream scoopers and that he should apply. She interviews Tommy with a single question and gives him the job. Emily goes to get uniforms for Tommy to try on, but Luke and Joanne take Tommy out back instead. There, they try to kill the teenagers, but Tommy makes the assailants disappear.

Sundae, Bloody Sundae
Joanne Collins visits the parlor and kidnaps Emily Duval to lure Tommy into a trap so she can kill him. Caspar Abraham tries to stop her, but Joanne murders him for trying Luke tries to stop his estranged wife from hurting anymore people, but Joanne refuses to stop and fires at Emily as Luke sends a stream of fire at her. Having recently discovered the true nature of his ability, Tommy freezes time at the last moment and redirects Luke's fire before teleporting away with Emily. Joanne runs off chased by Luke but gets away.
After Tommy is kidnapped by Quentin and Phoebe Frady, Noah Bennet travels to the ice cream parlor where he spots Caspar's body being zipped up and his granddaughter Malina.
Project Reborn
Three months after stopping the H.E.L.E., Tommy continues to work at Moe's, dating Emily who he makes an origami crane for. After a customer leaves, Tommy discovers that they left behind a tarot card.
