Operation Splinter

In chapter 1 of Operation Splinter in the iStory, Jeremy Woo informs the Primatech contracted player that the Company formed a new team called Task Force KS6 who were assigned to track down and eliminate the rogue squad. KS6 was to take down the Kill Squad during their assault on Elle, but an unknown third party interfered and killed one of the Kill Squad's men and KS6 backed off. Since it is unknown as to whether KS6 was compromised, the player is sent alone on a reconnaissance mission to find out more about what occurred.

In chapter 2 of Operation Splinter in the iStory, Primatech heads Tim Pope, Marie Dunn and Jeremy Woo listen as their contracted player explains that Red Eye is likely to go after the Kill Squad during that squad's attack on Maya Herrera. Tim comments that it would be good for them to tear each other apart. However, he then is reminded by Marie that Task Force KS6 is in danger too, cause that's when they plan to intercept the Kill Squad.

In chapter 3 of Operation Splinter in the iStory, Marie Dunn directs about thirty KS6 agents outside Maya Herrera's apartment building in New York City. They spot Kill Squad members leaving the building and open fire. The squad heads into a storefront, and Marie orders the task force to split in three teams: one team for a frontal assault, one team to get close and negotiate, and one team to circle around back. However, despite the three-pronged approach, the squad is able to escape through a back exit. Later, a task force member spots a squad member and a girl exiting the rear of the apartment building and capture them. The girl is identified as Anna, and Marie orders for her and the squad member to be taken to a cell for questioning.

In chapter 5 of Operation Splinter in the iStory, a Primatech convoy containing KS6 agents travels to Rowland, Alaska, the nearest town to the coordinates Red Eye had discovered were for the Kill Squad's headquarters and had written on a notepad he left in the Upstate New York farm. When Jeremy and the Primatech contracted player get a tip to go to a warehouse, they radio the location to Primatech's makeshift command post and KS6 finds it is the Kill Squad's headquarters and begins packing up the evidence. The KS6 agents, while still packing up, become under gunfire, but are ordered to stand down and surrender to the other party. However, the Primatech contracted player notices someone the player thinks is Kill Squad and word quickly spreads among the agents that they are all Kill Squad, causing an all out fight between the KS6 agents and the other party.
