On September 11, 2001, Farah Nazan watches from her home in Astoria as the Twin Towers are hit, burned, and brought down to the ground. Her parents are killed in the attack, and Farah suffers deals with the aftermath of the attacks. Some of the prejudices Farah suffers include racist people who whisper about her and vandalism to her car. Youssef also suffers a vicious attack from a racist assailant whose cousin was killed in the 9/11 attacks.
Notes
- In the unaired pilot for Heroes, there was a character named Amid Halebi, sometimes called "The Engineer". According to the unaired pilot, Amid was the alleged 20th terrorist in the 9/11 attacks.
