Mr. Muggles is the dog that belongs to the Bennet family, specifically Sandra Bennet. He is a breeding Pomeranian who has been entered in dog shows.

Four Months Later...
Mr. Muggles struggles to adapt to his new life in Costa Verde, CA. During dinner with his family, Sandra talks about how he would like for everyone in California to know of his many awards and accomplishments.
Lizards
Mr. Muggles watches a dog show on television. Sandra sees this, and asks Claire to turn it off. When Claire abides, Mr. Muggles barks until Claire turns it back on. After Claire sees West outside the window and chases after him outside, Mr. Muggles follows her and jumps and barks.
The Kindness of Strangers
As Noah looks at the picture of his death on his laptop, Sandra walks in and says that Mr. Muggles and she just did two miles at the beach.
Out of Time
West pets Mr. Muggles after bringing waffles over. Later, Mr. Muggles lounges on the couch as Claire and West kiss and listen to music.
Cautionary Tales
Noah tells Sandra to get Mr. Muggles's doggie bath, which he uses to place Elle into. Later, Mr. Muggles jumps into Sandra's arms affectionately after she hears about her husband's death.
Truth & Consequences
At the Imperial Beach parking lot, Lyle holds Mr. Muggles as Claire scatters Noah's ashes.
Powerless
Mourning the loss of her father, Claire asks Mr. Muggles if he will ever leave her. He then runs away from her to bark and scratch at the door, announcing Noah's return.

Sandra tells Claire that Mr. Muggles had an accident in the Bennets' Nissan Sentra. Later, Mr. Muggles sits on Claire's bed with her.

Mr. Muggles barks at Elle while she is spying on Claire outside the Bennets' home.
Graphic Novel:Normal Lives
Sandra tells her family that Mr. Muggles has a three-state driving limit and will go absolutely no further. In the hotel, Noah tries to go for a walk, but Sandra tells him he needs to fulfill his obligation to Mr. Muggles, who looks at Noah with a leash in his mouth. Noah takes Mr. Muggles only to leave him in the Rogue as he takes a baseball bat and heads to Kenny's Diner. Upon his return, Noah walks Mr. Muggles back up to the hotel room where they both promptly fall asleep.
The next morning, Mr. Muggles joins his family in the car and they continue their travels.
The Second Coming
Mr. Muggles walks up to Claire while she's sitting at home. Later, Claire holds Mr. Muggles while crying, in the aftermath of her encounter with Sylar.
Graphic Novel:Out of Town... On Business
Claire holds Mr. Muggles in their home. When Claire sees a message left behind by Noah that says that he is out of town on business, Claire says to Mr. Muggles that Noah better have a good explanation. Claire then calls her father.
Building 26
Mr. Muggles sits on Sandra's lap at the breakfast table while the family discusses Claire's college hunting.
Exposed
Mr. Muggles helps to expose Alex's presence in the house by finding his unfinished sandwich under Claire's bed.
Shades of Gray
Mr. Muggles sits on Sandra's lap as agents burst into the Bennet house to arrest Claire.
Turn and Face the Strange
Noah confronts Sandra in her Washington, DC hotel room, believing she is Sylar impersonating his wife. Lyle rings Sandra's phone, asking where Mr. Muggles' doggie medicine is. When Lyle confirms that it's where she said it was, Noah realizes is really is Sandra.
An Invisible Thread
Sylar says that Mr. Muggles will eventually die.

Trivia
- According to the episode commentary on NBC.com, the dog who normally plays Mr. Muggles, Lestat, was unavailable for The Fix due to a scheduling conflict. His stand-in was a good deal smaller and colored differently, so he spent the entire episode painted and wearing a sweater to minimize the discrepancy.
- Sylar calls Mr. Muggles "little fluffy". (Distractions)
- Much to the chagrin of many Heroes fans, it was Mr. Muggles's affinity for shoes that prevented Sandra Bennet from revealing her husband's name. It wasn't until 9 episodes later during the season finale that his name was finally revealed. (Distractions)
- Muggle is a word used in the Harry Potter series of books by J.K. Rowling to refer to a human who does not have magical abilities. Writers have confirmed that the dog was named with this term in mind. Similar to Harry Potter, Claire has been adopted by a family who does not have any special abilities.
- On Greg Beeman's blog, Allan Arkush discusses a scene filmed in The Second Coming where Mr. Muggles barks at Sylar while Claire is locked in the closet. "Sylar raises his finger, the way he always does when he’s going to take off the top of someone’s head. So, you started to get worried if Mr. Muggles is going to be Okay. And then, Sylar flicks his finger – and Mr. Muggles shoots backwards out the doggie door."
- In Behind the Eclipse: Week 5, Chuck Kim jokingly states that Mr. Muggles has the ability to rearrange matter on a sub-atomic level.
- For an unknown reason Mr. Muggles is Sylar's pet in the "exposed future" but is presumably killed when Sylar destroys Costa Verde.
