Character History
The Needs of the Many
After murdering Alexander French in his home, Joanne hears a noise from upstairs and draws her gun. The noise is the Frenches' dog, who walks downstairs and lays next to his master's dead body.

When Noah and Caspar arrive at The Frenches' home, Scooter walks up to the door to greet them. Alexander French tells Scooter to sit and apologizes to Noah and Caspar, saying that Scooter always thinks that anyone who visits is there to see him. Noah pets Scooter, whose behaviour reminds him of Mr. Muggles.
