Re: title image

Ugg, couldn't we choose a less graphic image for the title?--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:09, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

  • I'd lend you a hand, but... --DocM 16:11, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
  • I was taking Hardvice's suggestion, and I kind of like it. It's really the most memorable non-terrorist moment that is specific to the unaired pilot. Plus, it has the added bonus of just being really creepy. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:25, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
    • Hrm. Yes, it's creepy and maybe that fits cause it's probably one of the reasons the unaired pilot remained 'unaired'. However, that doesn't mean we have to use it... it's just bad taste, imho, but it looks like I'm outvoted.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:56, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
      • I agree, I find it a bit distasteful as the main episode image. Let's go with something else. Perhaps a less graphic shot of Simone holding Isaac after she discovers him with his hand cut off? (Admin 23:00, 3 September 2007 (EDT))
        • I don't mind the image because it's only being used on this page, not in any portal or anything. If we want another image, that's fine, but an image of Simone holding Isaac occurred in Genesis, and I'd prefer to have something that didn't appear at all in any other episode. There's this image which is somewhat unique to the unaired stuff, but I doubt it'll pass judgment either. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:16, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
          • I actually like this image Ryan just suggested better. Sometimes it's better to show where something isn't than where it actually is... this is one of those times, imho.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:50, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
            • Yeah, I agree. In this case since it's not really essential to the article show the severed hand itself we should just opt for the more conservative approach here. (Admin 00:27, 4 September 2007 (EDT))
  • In any case, we should swap the two title images. The severed hand occurs in both this cut (hehe, cut) and in In His Own Image, while Amid boiling water only occurs in this cut, but is currently the title image for In His Own Image.--Hardvice (talk) 11:02, 4 September 2007 (EDT)
    • So after Hardvice swapped those two title images, I swapped the title image of the severed hand in In His Own Image with the photo from the gallery of the hand being missing.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:45, 4 September 2007 (EDT)

Stubs

What is planned for this page? Do we want to treat it like an episode and write a scene by scene synopsis or follow the page of In His Own Image and just list the differences?

If it is the former, would it be acceptable to basically copy and paste the information from Genesis except where the two differ? -- Lulu (talk) 18:39, 10 January 2008 (EST)

  • I think it should be a scene-by-scene synopsis. There's no need to have just the differences again, and there is so much new content here that a synopsis seems like it would fit the best. Yes, I think using the synopsis from Genesis is fine, though there are quite a few changes that would need to be made. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:09, 10 January 2008 (EST)
    • Alright, I'll probably do it sometime over the weekend. I was going to do it today, but I don't think I'll be able to finish tonight. Maybe I can just do a section or two. -- Lulu (talk) 20:11, 10 January 2008 (EST)
      • Well, there's no rush, and there's nothing wrong with doing it in sections. Plus, I don't think you'll hit too many edit conflicts if you take your time. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:54, 10 January 2008 (EST)
        • Indeed. :] However, this is the current obstacle in my crusade through most wanted red links. -- Lulu (talk) 20:57, 10 January 2008 (EST)

No offence but...

I am kind of happy that Heroes didn't went ahead with this idea of having multiple chapters per episode. The titles are also long and looks weird. I can just imagine the final chapter beind named as "Now We're All Going To Try And Stop Peter From Exploding" or Chapter 21 "The Hard Part" being named as "This Is The Part Where Hiro Tries To Kill Sylar". No offence :x JLYK -- 19:08, 25 February 2008

  • lol. i doubt that would of ever happened. --Trevorrrj 03:37, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
