Saving the World
- Elle's line "Saving the world, one virus at a time?" is a reference to Peter's line "Saving the world, one person at a time." (referring to his job as a nurse.)

- I think with Elle's massive exposure in the lastest GNs, she is going to become the new Claire and appear in every episode next season. -- Seclusion talk / contribs 04:17, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- I think the donuts were a reference to the other Matt 's past experiece with donuts.--Piemanmoo 17:46, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Or are donuts the new waffles? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:13, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Ohoh! You shouldn't mess with waffles. They don't like to be compared with poor-tiny-ridiculous-and-not-so-tasty donuts ! --

A Review by DocM
- Poor title, great comic. Yes, too much Elle, but I think that's because Elle is the one who is associated with the new Company more than Bob (he seems busy with other things, such as making gold). Elle acts like a prison guard of sorts. Or a conjugal visit. --DocM 06:00, 22 January 2008 (EST)
Title
- What's with the horrible title again? The worst so far. --Looky 06:55, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- I have to agree, this is a pretty dam poor title; It sounds like a unfinished sentence rather than a title. -- Seclusion talk / contribs 08:26, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Coming soon: Hana and Drucker's Road Trip! --DocM 08:32, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Please, don't make it more painful than it already is. xD Ravenka 09:44, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Maybe this is in solidarity of the writer's strike? Most people that are continuing on through the strike are making some sacrifices in show of support for the writers... Ellen isn't doing aher monologue, Jon Stewart changed the name of his show, Stephen Colbert stopped doing the Word, and the Heroes Evolutions people stopped writing intelligent comic book titles. ;-) --Maelwys 10:49, 22 January 2008 (EST)

Downloading a mainframe into someone's head
chuck, anyone? Ehsteve23 11:15, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- It is NBC, so it could be some sort of weird cross-over. --PeterDawson 11:47, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- Besides Chuck, think KyleXY and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. It's not an original idea, but it's a nice homeage, imho.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:43, 22 January 2008 (EST)
"Downloading"
Upon rereading the novel and our summaries, I think we need to be careful about using the word "downloading" to describe what Elle does with the information on the mainframe. Though perhaps technically correct (in some cases of the word), "download" usually has a technological connotation: We download files from the internet, from our email, from a computer to a disk, etc. Matt's brain may act as a computer, but it's still a human brain, not an actual computer. Elle uses the goggles to display the information so that Matt can visually record things in his brain. It's more of a photographic memory than it is wires and plugging in....Food for thought... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:29, 23 January 2008 (EST)
- Yeah, that was the impression I got. Matt was just memorizing. --Ice Vision (talk) 15:20, 23 January 2008 (EST)
- Right, the goggles were just quickly flashing all the information from the files of the mainframe. If I gave the wrong impression with all the "downloading" terms, I'm sorry. I meant it to be more metaphorical than literal. --NellaBishop 15:56, 23 January 2008 (EST)
- No need to be sorry. I've used the term, too. Technically there's nothing wrong with the word, it just has a common connotation which does not apply. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:33, 23 January 2008 (EST)
