His film credits include Trespass, The Smile of an Angry Man, Magic City, Blast On, The Bishop, Love Shorts, Barbershop and Barbershop 2: Back in Business, No Coincidence, If I Wuz Yo Gyrl: An Experimental Work in Progress, and A Second Chance. Some of his theater credits include Topdog/Underdog, A Lesson Before Dying, The Jackie Wilson Story, and Ugly.
Notes
- David was originally cast as Bruce Evans for a scene in the end of Powerless. However, the scene was cut due to the writers strike in 2007. When David came across the breakdowns for The Second Coming and read that they were looking for a reporter, he contacted his agent and asked if he could get back in and be seen by Allan Arkush and the other producers. Arkush remembered David and told David's agent that he would get back to them. A week later, the production office called and gave David the part again. In fact, he didn't even have to go back in to audition again.
