Samuel takes Vanessa to get some breakfast, and orders her a strawberry milkshake. They talk about the past and their relationship with each other, and then share the milkshake.
Later, Samuel returns to the parlor. He plays Vanessa's song on the jukebox. A waitress approaches him, and he asks her if he is scary. He then concentrates, and the entire diner begins to shake.
Notes
- Just as the location of the carnival is unknown, so is the location of O'Mallory's. However, it would appear that the ice cream parlor is reasonably close to the carnival, as Samuel travels back and forth from there easily.
- Scenes that took place in O'Mallory's were filmed in Gelato Bar in Studio City, California.
