POWER or ABILITY absorption?
The new GN says that Arthur's ability is Ability Absorption. So which one would be preferable to use: The current or the new one? Or do we just refer both names in the ability page i.e Power absorption(also called as Ability absorption)There really isn't much difference there, as it both connotes absorbing Evolved human abilities... just wondering what the site would like to use to call the ability...—Preceding unsigned comment added by Realistic (talk • contribs) March 29

developed form of empathic mimicry

This statement has confused me, if this ability was a developed form of empathic mimicry then the Arthur would just gain the ability without making contact and the person without demonstrating the ability, like when Peter replicated Claire's ability from homecoming Peter manage to mimic Claire's ability without Claire not need to heal herself, then we would saw in the "dying of the light" Arthur would heal himself, taking his mask off and standing up and when Adam Monroe walk into the room, instead of Arthur touching Adam although he could control not to take ability then until he touch Adam.

- Your point is? My guess is that Empathic mimicry can developed to the point where the user can forcibly remove another's ability (such as Arthur does). - Well, for me if the ability is a more developed version of EM, then that means at some point he had to have EM, so also means that peter would be immune to the power stealing from arthur, so pretty much think their two different abilities, also my point of view is that if its a developed version of EM then he still would have the area-part of his ability, you don't lose aspects when you develop. Maybe it's like enhanced teleporting. You could say it's a developed form of teleportation, but it was never stated it was once teleportation.

I was questioning if a person with ability absortion would have the same immunity with someone with empathic mimicry, if they didn't have space-time manipulation and somebody else, when they stopped time . We have no evidence of that happening only a person with Empathic Mimicry being immuned when somebody stops time.--50000JH 12:51, 26 April 2010 (EDT)
