Should this be a character page, or a Heroes 360 page?--Hardvice (talk) 23:26, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Isn't there a Heroes 360 character template?--Citizen
    • Not yet. We haven't had any Heroes 360-only characters before.--Hardvice (talk) 23:43, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
      • I would wait to make her a character until we find out if she "does" anything else. Plus, we need to remember that the Heroes 360 stuff isn't quite canon. Personally I would hold off to see where we go with her and others. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:54, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
        • I was thinking more along the lines of having Heroes 360 characters.--Hardvice (talk) 23:56, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
          • That would make sense. One thing I want to avoid is incorporating her (or anybody else) too much into the main stuff. Those that want to find her can easily click on links from the Heroes 360 pages, and even in the notes (or Heroes 360 sections?) of main pages. I just don't like when I go to a show's wiki site and they talk about the ARG characters like they're regular characters....Heroes 360 characters would be a good idea (eventually?). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:05, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Spelling of her surname

Has the spelling Shoemaker been confirmed as cannon ? Because, to me at least, it seems a little bit odd. Schumaker sounds the same as Shoemaker right ? Wouldn't this spelling be more likely accurate ? --LeoChris 23:39, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Schumaker is often pronounced German-style (shoe-mocker instead of shoe-maker). Both are fairly common surnames. There's really no way to tell.--Hardvice (talk) 23:43, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Linderman

Would she be considered part of Linderman's organization? Heroe!(talk) 23:54, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

  • So far, she's Heroes 360-only, so not yet. If she appeared in the show, she would be. Or she could go in a Heroes 360 section of the list of articles related to... article, but not on the series bar.--Hardvice (talk) 23:56, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Occupation

What would Kelly's occupation be? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 04:50, 19 January 2008 (EST)

  • Programmer, according to the graphic novel. BTW now she's appeared in a graphic novel, should we use a character template instead of a Heroes-360 template? 23:32, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
    • Yeah, and I think we will need to move Kelly's, Brian's and Walter's entries from the evolutions to the graphic novel portals too.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:35, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
      • Personally, I think it'd be okay to leave her, along with Walter, as HE characters for now. However, it's no big deal if people want to move them to GN characters. -- Lulu (talk) 23:36, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
        • I'd much rather keep them as Heroes Evolutions characters. If they had any dialogue or actually appeared outside of the videoconference, I might feel differently. But I like that they are helping to populate Portal:Evolutions Characters, and their appearance in On the Lam feels more like a point of reference than an advancement of their story. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:28, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
          • That's fine for Walter and Kelly, but to quote the TV show name, "What about Brian?" Shouldn't Brian be moved to the graphic novel portal?--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:14, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
            • I already did that, earlier today. :] -- Lulu (talk) 01:22, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
            • This brings up some question as to what outranks what. I think they're primary role in Heroes is in Evolutions, even though Brian had a feature in a GN. --Bob (talk) 03:52, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
              • FWIW, I thought the rankings were Episodes->Novels->Evolutions: If a character, location, etc. appears in an episode, it always receives episode treatment. If not episode, but in novels, it goes to novels. Otherwise, it falls into Evolutions. Keeping Brian in Evolutions counters that argument.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:39, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
                • Right, that's pretty much the way we've done it so far. I agree, Brian should be in the graphic novel portal now (though I like that we've kept his real-life photo on his actual page). The tricky part is when people like Walter and Kelly Shoemaker briefly appear in a graphic novel. I don't think they should be moved to the GN portal, but that's my personal judgment call. It fits with other odd cases: Paris has been mentioned in the episodes, but we've kept it as a graphic novel location. Mr. Petrelli is an odd case where he appeared in several graphic novels, yet he's an episodic character, despite having only briefly appeared as a blur in a photograph--and I personally think that he's right where he should be. I think Miami outlined the general guideline; it's the odd cases that require a bit more discussion. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:40, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
