Exposed
Peter and Matt walk in the streets of Washington discussing telepathy. They arrive at Building 26 and enter the building.
Later, Matt, strapped to bombs, is dumped by Danko in the middle of Washington D.C. in order to have him explode and show the world how people with abilities are supposedly terrorists.
Shades of Gray
Nathan arrives at the site of Matt's strapping to a bomb. They successfully disarm Matt using telepathy, but Nathan knocks Matt out to prevent him from escaping.
Cold Snap
Tracy walks along the streets of DC, when an ATM machine talks to her. She takes money from the machine and a slip directing her to Union Station. She calls a taxi, and after she leaves, Micah Sanders shows up and calls a taxi as well.

An Invisible Thread
Noah Bennet is driving through Arlington when he notices some construction cones. He concludes they're fake and that Danko has set a trap. He tells Claire and Angela to head off in another direction as he drives onward as a decoy. He triggers the trap and is taken to Building 26. Sylar arranges a meeting with the president at the Stanton Hotel. A battle takes place in one of the hotel rooms between Sylar, Nathan and Peter which results in the death of Nathan. Later, Sylar is subdued by Peter as he attempts to meet with the President. Sylar's body is taken back up to the hotel room and Nathan's memories are then forced into his head by Matt Parkman.

- Georgetown is a relatively affluent neighborhood located within DC, along the Potomac River.
- Arlington, VA is about a 10-minute drive from the heart of DC. It was once part of DC, but was retroceded to Virginia in 1847.

- The origins of Georgetown's name are unclear: George Beall and George Gordon founded the area as the "Town of George", and King George II was the king of England at the time.
