Alex Woodward is an employee of The Quarry and Renautas. He was ordered by Trevor Mason to befriend Cassandra in order to lure her back to The Quarry.

Heroes Reborn: Enigma
Cassandra travels from 2014 to 2008 because Alex said her family was at the Quarry.
Gemini: Heroes Reborn
Alex brings Cassie to the seemingly abandoned Quarry. He explains that he works in a low-level position at Renautas, and Renautas was trying to get in contact with former employees. Alex saw Cassie's parents' names on an HR manifest, and decided to bring her to Renautas-owned Quarry. He gives her some high-tech smart glasses and teaches her how to use them. Suddenly, some guards come from the dilapidated Quarry so Alex leads Cassie deeper into the Quarry. However, the guards find Alex after he falls through a roof, hit him, and lock him in a room. While detained, Alex says that the guards beat him, but he is still able to communicate with Cassie through her glasses. The two work together from afar to gather information and escape the Quarry.
When Cassie finally finds Alex, she sees that he is not hurt. Instead, he tells her that he works for Trevor Mason at the Quarry, and that he is sorry he had to lie to her to lure her to the Quarry. He also tells Cassie that he is an evo, and demonstrates his telekinetic abilities. Cassandra and Alex fight, and Cassie comes off victorious. Hurt, Alex says that Cassie does have living family who used to live at the Quarry, and then Alex dies.
Evolved Human Abilities
Alex naturally has the ability of telekinesis it allows him to pick up objects from a certain distance, move them, throw them, and drop them. He is also capable of using his ability to levitate and fly limited distances.
