Ren Shimosawa welcomes himself into Miko Otomo's apartment. He finds her sitting on the floor listening to music. She tells him that she is not supposed to let anyone in and tells him to leave. Ren recognizes a hallway as something from the game Evernow.
Later, Ren returns to prove to Miko that she is Katana Girl from Evernow. She yells at Ren to leave and she decides to check out her father's study in case she is Katana Girl. She finds a sword under the floor and when she opens it, it transports her into Evernow.

June 13th, Part One
On June 13th, 2014, Hachiro sits in his apartment and watches news coverage of the explosion at the Odessa Unity Summit. The reporter states that Hiro Nakamura was killed in the explosion. Hachiro is confused, since he had used his ability to trap Hiro in the Eternal Fortress earlier that day.
