About
The Second Coming
After Nathan gets shot at his press conference and is rushed to the hospital, Future Peter, his killer, waits to hear what the doctors say. When the doctors say that Nathan is dead, Future Peter kisses him and Nathan is alive.
Later, when Nathan is supposed to be in his hospital bed, he is seen by reporters in the chapel nearby. He tells a Hispanic woman that he saw God today. Future Peter walks up to him and he feints. Soon after, Nathan is in his hospital bed talking to "Peter." Nathan says that God gave them all abilities. When "Peter" leaves, Linderman walks in saying that he healed Nathan. Even later, Angela is by Nathan's bedside and sees "Peter" outside in the hall. She asks him where Present Day Peter is and tells him to go back to where he came from.
The Butterfly Effect
Tracy goes to Nathan's hospital room offering him the job of Junior New York Senator. He says he'll think about it and talks to Linderman. Linderman tells him to take it, but Nathan is skeptical.
Later, Future Peter comes to Nathan and tells him about the future, to take the job, and that he shot Nathan to stop the future. Soon after, Nathan accepts the job and Linderman and Nathan play chess. A nurse then walks in ad asks if he is playing by himself.
