Akihiro Kitamura is the Japanese television and film actor who plays the character Tadashi.
About
Active in a variety of realms in the entertainment business, Akihiro Kitamura has had a hand in writing, directing, producing, and acting in several films and television series. Prior to Heroes, Akihiro acted in the films Porno (which he also produced) and I'll Be There with You (both of which he also wrote), and in the television shows Canoga Park, From G's to Gents, and New York Goes to Hollywood. Following Heroes, Akihiro starred as the front section of the title role in The Human Centipede (First Sequence), a part he audtioned for via Skype.
Akihiro studied acting in Beverly Hills Playhouse, and went on to study filmmaking for five years at North Carolina School of the Arts and Los Angeles City College. In 2007, he began a production company called "Disco Cherry".
