Glaeden "Glade" Summers is the second-in-command of The Guardians. He is also an evolved human with the ability to create copies of non organic objects.
About
Glaeden was born to a poor family in Georgia. When his power manifested at age 16, he used it to copy money and support his parents, but when they discovered how he was coming by the money, his hard working parents disapproved of his use of his gift, and he left to discover a greater meaning behind his power. He began to carry a throwing knife, and practiced until he could hit any target, and coupled with his ability, he is never without a weapon. He helped Shard kill a pyrokinetic, and the two founded The Guardians to help those who cannot help themselves.

Slow Burn
In chapter 4 of Slow Burn, Glade is among a group that Gail Bowman and Edgar are sent to recruit into the Sullivan Bros. Carnival. When the meeting between the two groups is about to become violent, Gail recognizes John, and the two groups calm down. They go into the Guardians' bunker, and their leader, Shard, asks why they are there. Gail offers them the chance to join the carnival "family", but Shard refuses, and Glade quotes their motto "Guard the Peace, Guard the Future", saying they know where they belong.
Evolved Human Abilities
Glade has the ability to copy any non-organic material he touches. He demonstrated this in chapter 4 of Slow Burn by creating a copy of a throwing knife he held in one hand into his other hand.
