In chapter 2 of The Agent, after spotting a few images with what appear to be bar codes on a website, Rachel copies them to her computer and attaches them to an email to her hacker buddy, Volts. Later, she receives a call from Volts with caller ID blocked. Volts comments to Rachel how early it is--saying that although it is practically lunch time, he should be in bed.
