Vandals

  • No need to take care of anything. Admins here have a really cool "rollback" function that makes it really easy to change a vandal's work. I can do the pictures, too. If you're still seeing pictures, you might need to clear the cache. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:37, 2 August 2011 (EDT)

Hey Ryan, long time no see :) I've been away (and I still am) since Heroes has ended. And I've successfully obsessed myself with something else, just like you proposed.   • I would ask Admin--he set up this wiki. I know there's a significant cost involved with it, so you'll want to work out some plan for recouping your expenses (Google ads is what worked for us when HW first started, and then we struck a deal with NBC). You'll also want to market the wiki in appropriate chat rooms and message boards. However, the best advertising you could have for your wiki is excellent content. Two vandals

Harrison

Hi,

Harrison's real first name is indeed Harry and most of his friends do call him Chip. I lived across the street from Chip growing up (in Dover, MA), and we are life-long friends. Hope this evidence supports re-posting the information that I put on his page. I don't know what kind of "documentation" I could attain, but will search something out if you really think it is necessary.

Deanna Douglas picture

Ryan I am her father and attempting to correct the images of her on this site. I got the cheerleading image from the show itself on netflix. The megaphone picture was taken from that. What is the standard size and I can get one that fits that requirement. The Deanna Dogulas.jpg that was there is incorrectly taken and keeps being changed back to a blond without the megaphone. That is not Deanna. I don't know how it first was done but changing it for the fourth time is tiresome. Any help to correct this would be appreciated. Harrison Wilcox

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the help with the links and cleaning up! Your dedication to the show and to this site is really great. I'm trying to correct an inaccuracy. I was never Jeph Loeb's assistant on the show. My titles, which can be found on imdb, were Office PA on the pilot, Writers PA for part of Season One, Script Clearance Coordinator for Seasons 1-3. Research Associate for Season 4. Anything else is inaccurate and conflicts with my resume, which is a problem.

The other stuff I deleted/changed was also inaccurate.

RE; removing content

Hi, would it at least be possible to delete the picture. That really is my only annoyance.

Graphic/Episodes

We should add in every episode box the corresponding graphic novel. It is there the other way round, the GN's mention the corresponding episode. Now that different stations repeat different episodes, one should be able to jump to the comics! Oh and by the way, this wiki should exist forever... --Juba 16:16, 14 October 2011 (EDT)

  • I think all the episodes that have corresponding GNs list the GNs in the Notes section. Not all the episodes have corresponding GNs, and some episodes have several GNs that "belong" to it.     • You're right of course, it is in the notes — of the GN, but not vice versa... Like the note for The Crossroads linking to Lizards, but no note in Lizards to point to The Crossroads. --Juba 15:08, 16 October 2011 (EDT)
      • They should all be there. I remember working on them ... but it's entirely possible that I missed a few. (For instance, Collision and Aftermath both link back and forth to each other.)       • Actually, Lizards does link back to Crossroads, only it's in the Trivia section (because no Notes section was ever created).   • Done. I can't delete an account, and I don't believe it can be fully deleted either. (You're not the first to ask.) However, your user page can be deleted. Also, I should point out that even though the picture is deleted, it will still show up on, say, Google Images and other sites where it might be in their caches or archives. It's been a while..

So I come back to this site to reminisce on the good old days, and lo and behold, Ryan is on here, still working diligently like a trooper! Well, obviously not as often as the old days, but you still seem to be the only person still doing constructive stuff around here! Is there anything in particular I could do to help you out around here?   • Hey, Psilaq! Good to hear from you! I sure do miss the camaraderie and fellowship of our old community! I try to get on HW every once in awhile. I know people who are just discovering Heroes use it as a resource, and our cast and crew pages are often used by others as resources. Plus, I find it relaxing and enlightening to jump on every once in awhile, especially while I'm sitting watching TV or relaxing before bed. :)

    Thanks for the offer to help out a bit. A few of the most helpful things you could do if you wanted to:

    • Expand our stubs.
    • Update our cast pages with new projects the actors are involved in.
    • Use IMDb to cross references projects that cast members have been in with other cast members. (This page might help so the links to cast members' pages turn purple. Let me know if this is a project you'd like to do -- I'd be more than willing to help with some tips and pointers.)
    • Work on our red links.
