Question about Trivial/Fun/Funny things people might have missed

Hey there RGS- I used to have a bunch of screencaps after the second episode of last season for speculation/trivia, but the image host I used went offline. I still have copies offline, and the various threads at a few HEROES fansites are still up, along with a trail for HEROES Screencaps. If you wanted to look at least at the descriptions (though there are a few), could you figure out if any of the images could/should be hosted here?

Also, more recently, I made a thread about things people may have missed in "Lizards" (you'll need to log in at 9thW to read it, and most of my posts include a screencap), which are mainly trivial/fun/funny things I noticed while rewatching Lizards. Is there a place in an episode article where some of those might fit?

• First, I had no idea that you were Hero from 9th Wonders. Okay, now that that's out of the way, great stuff you put on 9th Wonders. (I can't access snurl from my work computer, so I'll look at that stuff later).

1. Pyrex could be mentioned on product placement if you want.
2. I thought about making an article for US Press. It would be considered a publication.
3. The article text would make for some good trivia on the page.
4. My wife and I met in theater/film classes, and we noticed the horse's behind, too. (Subtle jokes like that are fun--kind of like when Sylar cut off the top of Charlie's head while she was cutting the lid off a big can.) I don't know if the horse's behind could go anywhere, though--it's just a fun filmmaking device.
5. I suppose the sticker could be included in the gallery on Costa Verde High School.
6. I noticed the locker number too (my wife hates when I rewind TiVo to check things like that out). That would make a good piece of trivia on Claire Bennet or CVHS or both.
7. I usually try to ignore continuity errors. I know people revel in them, but (with the exception of content-based errors) they've never really done anything for me.
8. It's funny that you noticed so many things that I noticed too. My wife hates feet and couldn't stand that scene (as I think most people got a little squeamish during Claire's feet feat). She said she was particularly disturbed by the sore on her toe, and I wondered how Claire could ever get a sore? Odd thing to overlook, eh?

  • That's fun that ya noticed those also. If I could get a higher-resolution screencap of the Kaito article, I could transcribe more of the randomness in it. FYI- a Talkback Studios does exist, which merged with Freemantle Media (Thames) to make TalkbackThames. And I sorta told ya (if you read it) my various usernames here... The random sightings were enough (imo) to make a thread about it for "Lizards", and if there are enough interesting (at least to me) things in future eps, I'll probably continue making threads for TYMM (Things You Might've Missed). Just a question - why would they use a "pyrex" glass, when, in such a quick scene, any glass would do, unless it was for product placement? Anyway, in my "blog" at TVGuide, some people have also requested that I make it a weekly thing, but it would kinda depend on what I notice, unless it's something where it's a regular deal to which everyone contributes.     • I hadn't read the post that came after mine. I don't check 9th Wonders as frequently as others. All that fan fiction and role playing stuff gets in the way, if you ask me. The last time I check that thread was when I posted. And you're Hiro at Tim Sale's board, eh? Didn't know that! ... I asked Tim to show us a high-res image of the latest painting (the one Noah unfurls that shows Kaito's death), but I'm afraid my post got lost in the shuffle. You might want to ask him, too. Help page summaries

Theory: Preponderance of Biblical Names

The preponderance of characters with Biblical names is something I noticed early on and has been mentioned in a few places, but only once here: powers are from a higher power.     • Admin provided a great link. I think some theorizing beyond what is written as documentation on that page wouldn't be a bad idea. For instance, it would be inappropriate to put something like "Noah is named such because he is responsible for gathering evolved humans" on a main namespace page, but it would be great on a page like "Theory:faith and religion" or "User:FissionChips/name phenomenon". Characters not in portals

Hey Ryan -- neat trick. I added template:S1 and template:S2 to the new navbar subtemplates. They allow us to see a list of season one and season two characters separately. Should make it easier to figure out who isn't in the portals yet.--Hardvice (talk) 02:21, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

    • I had linked to a template from each of the subtemplates. That was supposed to make the what links here page of each fake template produce a list of characters by season. It worked perfectly with one template for season one (it only linked the season one characters), but as soon as I added the second template, everybody showed up in both lists. So I changed them to categories, which is probably better. Of course, everybody's sorted by first name in those cats, and adding sort logic defeats the purpose of making it all happen automagically in the navbar. Oh well. At least we have a list of season two characters now to compare against the portals.--Hardvice (talk) 03:37, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
      • Oh, well....Regarding the autosort, I added {{DEFAULTSORT:}} logic to template:character box which is supposed to use the sort entered as the sort for any category on the page (unless another sort is specified for a particular category). It was working beautifully before, but it suddenly stopped working. I'm wondering, now, whether it's a bug that crept in with the upgrade.           • Actually, I went through and gave a sortname to everybody who needed a sortname. I'm not sure about the upgrade. Check out the sandbox--all the categories are sorting properly, event when the category comes through a template. I'm not understanding. I wonder if my code is wrong and I'm missing something, because right now, the sandbox is working, even when there is a cat through a template, and when the defaultsort logic comes through a template.                     • Basically, any time you use a variable, you can always pipe a default value to it. That's why a lot of the templates have the variables like this: {{{age|}}}. That defaults age to blank. {{{age|32}}} would default age to 32, and {{{name|{{PAGENAME}}}}} would default name to {{PAGENAME}}. If the variable is blank or not specified, it will use the default.--Hardvice (talk) 04:07, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

Season Characters descriptions

Also: can you think of better descriptions for the characters by season categories? They don't sound quite right to me. What I was trying to get across was that season one characters have only appeared in season one, and season two characters have appeared (but not necessarily debuted) in Season Two. • Right, it took me a second to understand how the categories worked--for instance, I saw Nathan as a season 2 character, but not as a season one character. It took me a second, and a more exact name would be better. I can't think of anything that's short and succinct, though. I mean, "Characters unique to Season One" would work, I suppose, or "Characters last seen in Season One" works too, but they both sound clunky.   • I labeled it "latest season" on the navbar, and that seems to work. Maybe some variant on that? "The following are characters whose latest appearance is in Season One"?--Hardvice (talk) 04:53, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

Extra Help in sections

• This might seem like a stupid idea but I'll present it anyway. I thought maybe that each section: characters, powers, production, fan creations etc. Each section could have one or two or however many needed be in charge of updating each page. Obviously one peron updating all characters would not work. It didn't work well for the Articles of Confederation either. So maybe we could have four or five people helping out more with updating characters, maybe two people updating powers. You get what I'm saying, right? And I don't mean AT ALL, not at all any person gets a sysop rank. That is totally not what I mean. But I think this idea, if you like it could really help get rid of stubs. Then if new web surfers stumble upon this site they won't see stubs all over the main characters. If it is something like Nissica, it isn't that big of a deal but Season One summaries I think should really be updated. The examples I used aren't really the exact ones I'm' proposing but something similar to that. See ya later! Jason Garrick 22:00, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
  • Thanks for the suggestion, Jason, and no, it's not at all a stupid idea. I've actually thought the same thing. :) It's awesome that you're thinking of ways to improve the wiki, not only for yourself, but for new users and casual browsers. I really appreciate that you're also suggesting ways in which we can organize ourselves better. However, I have a few concerns with delegating certain types of articles to people which I'll share with you. We all have different styles of editing, and I'd hate to see all the fan creations, for instance, written in a particular style, and not edited by others. Also, I know that when I'm doing a bunch of character summaries, I tend to get really bored--I enjoy the fact that on any given day I might write a few summaries, create a new article about a place, add a theory about Uluru, update some portals, and top off the day by linking to a reference. I enjoy that I can edit any article I want. I also like that with a wiki, everybody has equal say in what happens. It doesn't matter if I'm a sysop, you're a long-time user, or somebody else is brand new, we all can edit and we all have an equal say in how the wiki shapes up. That said, a lot of us here tend to have "pet" articles we like to update. I'm a big fan of getting to character and actor portals. I know Ted C really enjoys tweaking powers pages until they're just right. Some people take great pride in starting pages about locations, and others are really great at new character pages. But I'm afraid of "assigning" types of pages to different people, if I'm understanding what it is you're suggesting. I say, if there are a lot of stubs and they're really bugging you, feel free to knock a few out. I hope that answers your question. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:18, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

Character Stubs

• Obviously a lot of stubs on character eps are still to be tackled so am I allowed to copy and paste info from the synopsis epps in the episode page? or should I write my own summary about the characters part? For example: Noah has Lizards and Kindred stubbed. So can we copy and paste the synopsis info from the episode into his page? Lemme know. Otherwise tonight I'm probably going to watch the episodes again anyway. This is just so if more episodes are coming out and the stubs aren't being eliminated quicker I want new users and fans that might have missed an episode to quickly check out what happened.   • The episode synopses are generally too detailed for the character pages. What I generally do when I'm filling in a character page is copy the info from the synopsis, just to make sure I don't forget anything, and then trim it down so that it's more compact (and more focused on the individual character).--Hardvice (talk) 23:34, 13 October 2007 (EDT)

    • Yeah, generally, I do the same thing. I use the episode summary as a resource to remind myself of what occurred in the episode. (I also might rewatch a certain scene, or I'll use the transcripts or screencaps to help jog my memory.) Haitian and Mohinder

  • Read The Crossroads. There's pretty strong evidence to suggest that Mohinder "not knowing how he got there" with Bob is part of the whole setup to get the Haitian to Costa Verde.     • Before the novel came out I figured his memory had been wiped based on the camera effect. If it hadn't then it was a peculiar choice of camera effect which seeming was done to convey a Mohinder's perspective of going from talking to The Haitian to suddenly talking with Bob. After the novel came out I remember questioning that original assertion. I'll have to read it again to see whether it's clear that Mohinder still remembered the encounter. If he didn't get his mind erased then it may have been a misunderstanding somewhere because the intended effect in the episode would be somewhat inconsistent with the graphic novel. Though I wouldn't want to try arguing whether an ambiguous camera effect in an episode trumps a graphic novel in terms of canonicity.  :) (Admin 14:04, 15 October 2007 (EDT))
      • They talk about the camera effect in the episode commentary quite a bit. I found it odd at the time that they chose to focus on how it was used to show the passage of time (with the sun going down and coming up) and not about the Haitian's mindwipe, which I also assumed was what was going on. But then Crossroads came out and it became clear that, at the very least, Mohinder didn't get his mind wiped immediately (since he has a conversation with the Haitian not seen in the episode) and likely not at all (there's certainly no mention of him doing it or preparing to do it and, well, a conversation he's about to wipe out seems kind of pointless). That, in turn, made me think back to the commentary, which now made sense. The visual effect is merely to show the passage of time, but it's intended to trick you into thinking he's been mindwiped. Then, when they reveal at the end that he's in league with the Haitian, you're supposed to gather that he hasn't been from the fact that he remembers enough about what happened to at least know that there was a plan, that the Haitian is on his way to Bennet, and that Bob fell for it.         • I agree. I think the peculiar camerawork was intended to trick the audience in a way that mirrors Mohinder's trick on Bob. In the end, for the purposes of our site, it's too ambiguous to say one way or another that his memory was erased. It's best to use likewise ambiguous language, like "Bob believed the Haitian erased Mohinder's memory" or "The Haitian was cured and his power was restored" or "Mohinder seemd to have no recollection of the conversation." -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:18, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

G4

Very cool news. So Heroes is going to be airing on G4 beginning November 3rd. (See the press release.) There will also be a half hour interactive post show immediately following each episode. Well, G4 contacted me about being on the show as a host to "talk about Heroes plot points, rumors, speculation, and general knowledge". The interviews would be hosted by Kevin Pereira, Blair Butler, and a different cast member each week, apparently. They will also have a live audience each week: "We would love to have members from your site attend to see the show as well as the cast and crew of Heroes."             • I don't think it's about them being "cheap", it's just more fitting with the style they are trying to achieve, I imagine. When G4 contacted me, they told me they were approaching people who were active on Heroes fansites. I don't know exactly how they got my name, I imagine it was from an interview or something. I know they also asked Rob from The Heroes Chronicles. I'd imagine people like Craig from HeroSite were also asked. The idea is that it's very fan-driven. I would not turn down a stipend, of course (hey, I live off a teacher's salary, afterall), but I really like that the feel is much more about fans being granted a chance to talk with cast and crew. They offered to send me a webcam, which is very nice. The post show is also going to be a weekly thing, so it would be silly for them to fly me out each week. I'm very happy to do it from my home. As for the live audience, yes, there will be one each week. If someone is able to fly out, I'm pretty sure they'd be able to be in the studio audience--I'll find out specifics soon.               • Well, it's "cable" so supposedly G4 should have more money to spend on their programs (thus the free webcams). As for being "cheap", I just meant that they are on a budget so it makes sense they have to have some limits. As for the live audience, it would be great to know the specifics, at least as to where it will be filmed if anyone wanted to attend. As for hosts/co-hosts, if you are going to be doing it for the rest of the season, I can see them possibly wanting to fly you out for at least one of the shows (maybe the finale?). As for doing it each week for their hosts, that would not be unprecedented. For football, the networks fly their hosts to many places around the country in order to cover the games. I know "Heroes" isn't as big as the NFL, but I'm just giving an example. Anyways, it's very cool that they asked you to host, Ryan, and you definately deserve the stipend if they offered it to you.                 • I had the initial contact from G4 offering a hosting position to me. I left a message asking details (some of the same things you addressed above) and I'm sure I'll hear back sometime today or this evening. So long as the time commitments aren't outrageous (which I can't see it being more than an hour or so a week), then of course I'll say yes. It'll be a good opportunity to chat with some cast and crew members, maybe get some nagging questions answered, get a bit of a more in-depth look into insights on the show, and it'll be good promotion for Heroes Wiki hopefully. I can't say too much more than what's listed in the press release on G4's website, but I can say it'd be worth the trip if you can afford it. My contact at G4 says, "G4 viewers can take part in a live and interactive post-show after each episode where fans will be able to use web cams and instant messaging to join in a live discussion, voice their opinions and provide theories on how future episodes will play out." Yesterday, I created a page in the Heroes Wiki:Sandbox, and made a personal subpage out of it using the move tool. I probably bunged up the sandbox in the process, though, and I dont want to do that again when I need to do something like that again. • Yeah, that's cool. My main purpose for the page is so I know which graphic novels come between which episodes. This particularly comes in handy when I'm trying to do long character histories and am trying to squeeze GN summaries in between episode summaries. The format is very plain on my page because it's purely a reference for me and nothing else. I like your page a lot. Content I'd like to add

• So what kind of info is accepted/acceptable wanted here? For instance, last season, I made an Episode Reference Guide of a lot of the "official" content available at nbc grouped together by episode/week of release. It's in various forms at a few forums, and I liked this version at HEROES-TV which gave me some more freedom to make it more "lean" (except for the various edit timestamps). I haven't updated it much, and it seems people aren't interested in it, but I first made it for my own reference, 'cuz I wanted to organize the info that way. I'll be updating it sometime soon, for the content over the summer and this year. I've also attempted to keep a record of HEROES swf ads and HEROES Promos, which include various multimedia promotions for HEROES. Do you all list the Graphic Novel Easter Eggs (I added a question about that in the discussion for your Order of Release subpage)? Ever since I found out they were available, I made a point to list 'em, again just because I wanted them all in one place. And with HEROES Evolutions media, which includes videos or swf files, I like knowing the original url and also making mirrors of the content, like the Corinthian demo vid (which was reverted to the official link), which I feel helps readers know what the content looks like that is being described (as it is in a wiki). Also, if ya notice, the second version of the swf Suresh map has been removed from nbc, so, in the pertinent section, I added a link which is still active so readers can still access the original content, instead of just seeing a static screenshot. Last, is there a place where people can refer to to find some new HEROES Scoop? I'm sure people bookmark sites after a while, but if a person were at a new computer, having the links all in one spot is sometimes appreciated. I have made a few threads in various forums with links for the HEROES Scoop, and this is the rather unorganized version at 9thW. If any of this content can be added to the wiki, I'll help add it, if you wish. Thanks! 'ROESian
  • The graphic novel easter eggs are all linked to from the individual graphic novel articles. It's in the infobox at the top. The episode info from NBC, barring any copyright concerns, should be on the Spoiler page for an episode I believe. I don't know if we're preserving that content after each episode airs, but that's where it's usually presented first. Concerning the Corinthian video we should link to the official source for now, but should they ever remove it then it'd be acceptable to link to an alternate source at that time. As for "Heroes scoop", what are you thinking? Links to particular Heroes news sites, or links to Heroes related articles? We have the information that's on Template:News, but I always feel that could be kept more up to date than it is currently. (Admin 04:05, 20 October 2007 (EDT))
    • Thank you for the reply. What about the other content you did not address? Is it worth adding, if it hasn't already been done? I really haven't looked at the whole site to get a feel for how things are organized here too; some things are not where I intuitively expect them to be, or things I think are related aren't connected/mentioned, or I don't know where to look for or search for some things. And knowing there are over almost 2,000 articles just sounds like a mess. I guess that could be from knowing that not all of the submitted stuff isn't like some 3d modeling programs to which I'm accustomed, where new additions become parametrically linked, if that makes sense. You can't make a change without anything relying on that information also uniformly updating in some modeling programs, so everything's on the same page. Are there too many variables in the information provided to keep all the information uniform? For instance, do the episode pages automatically link to their relevant episode spoiler page? Or can the images from the episode galleries at nbc, once they are available, be linked to the relevant episode pages here? I think there should be a connection, since they are referring to the same episode. I do want to help; I just would like to get a feel for how what I do can make a difference. I usually do not refer to wikipedia info, but instead go to sites which are either official or dedicated to sharing the information I'm looking for, just 'cuz I don't know who's sharing the information in wikis, or what their agenda may be. But I at least know that people here are concentrating on providing HEROES info, so I'm less apt to be wary of the content here. I just want to know that if I make a contribution, it actually is useful. The dynamic nature of information that's shown just seems different to me. I might look for information and think it says something helpful, and then later, only by looking at the history of the page will I still see the content. So, I guess I'm still asking questions about content to add and also sharing my concerns about what I think about wikis, all at once, just 'cuz I think the whole accounting of every action is different, so the fewer the actions in the list, the better...   • Great stuff as always, 'ROES. A few random replies. I didn't see your reply on my order of release page--it becomes increasingly difficult for me to check every edit to the wiki, and I don't have any of my subpages added to my watchlist. A bit of history on that page: it's just a reference I made for myself, mostly for when we were adding the GN histories to the body of the character pages, simply so I could know which episodes to squeeze the GNs between. I haven't even been keeping it up recently--others have been graciously doing that for me. As for a list of Easter Eggs, I don't personally see the value in it being all on one page, but then again, I usually just check the EE while reading the graphic novel, and never refer to it again. Occasionally I'll use a behind the scenes image, and the lineart pages were quite nice, but I still never refer to them again. If you wanted to make a user subpage that listed them all, feel free--in fact, it might be pretty easy to do using some of the Winter codes....As for new Heroes scoop, we are seriously lacking in regularly updating our news page. Granted, a lot of times when there's a bit of news, we just add an article for it if it's noteworthy enough (see Heroes: The Mobile Game, the Graphic Novel Collection, Saving Charlie, etc.). And we have, I feel, a terrific list of season two spoilers. But for general news, we could use some help....As for our archived spoilers, I think we only have pages for episodes after Homecoming. No, we don't link to the spoiler pages from the episode page after the episode airs, but this link is a good place to find them all. I'm not a big fan of archiving spoilers after the episode airs because, well, they're no longer spoilers. I also am not a big fan of the NBC descriptions because they're sometimes inaccurate, and they're often just pretty lame. So I don't put a lot of value in those archived spoiler pages, but yet they exist on the site in case anybody wants to peruse them. I suppose a link on the episode page wouldn't hurt, I just personally don't see the benefit, especially when our episode pages are already pretty good resources of what actually aired.

    All that said, what I'm gleaning for your original post is that you have terrific resources, a good eye for details, and lots of information to share (which I know mostly from reading your posts at 9th Wonders). I'm also hearing that you're not quite sure how to best wield that information and translate it to help Heroes Wiki. It's a tough call, and I don't think I have an easy answer for you. Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and experiment as much as you want. (Don't worry about "ruining" anything--any changes can be undone or modified.) But look around and get a feel for stuff. If you see something really lacking, either take it to a talk page, or go ahead and tweak it to how you think it should be.       • Lucky you that you got to play the game. Seems like fun...I personally don't care much about the swf ads, but that's just me. Don't let my personal preferences sway you one way or another. You're smart to bring your ideas to the community to get ideas and general concensus on what is needed. I'd do the same thing for the swf ads. Another option is to make a page for whatever it is your thinking, but to do it in the User namespace (something like "User:'ROESian/SWF ads" or "User:'ROESian/List of graphic novel Easter Eggs"). Then, if it's a page that the general population of the wiki finds important to add to the main space, it can simply be moved.         • Yep, making subpages sounds like a good idea (still, whether the stuff I add is in a subpage or wherever it is, I'm not quite sure when I'll get the opportunity to organize it and make it sorta presentable).

          About the official NBC stuff I've attempted to compile - I do it as a way to archive what's been given from the official source, whether or not it's applicable anymore, but more just because it has been provided. For instance, I have a few copies of the promo lenticular HEROES NCM/Regal Cinemas card for the free iTunes download of the series premiere. And I have the recording of the Nathan Petrelli campaign phone call available if people ever wanted to hear it again. Things like that have no real functional value, but, like online content that has been provided, I still have them. Sorta like an unofficial deal like what archive.org has (although I have the original heroes.nbc.com site as a fully-functional local copy, and their offerings are more automated, I think), I'm just preserving official HEROES stuff "for posterity", just in case people wanna see what they missed. Another example? These are the HEROES cellphone wallpapers, all in one spot (at least from last season; I haven't checked to see what's new). Any place here for those? 'ROESian

• Besides the previous questions in my last reply, I was wondering if people were interested in having episode recaps separated into the (usually) 6 "acts" (as headers). To find where a scene is for screencaps from HEROES Rewind (for my own use, since 640x360 isn't the size for stuff here), I'll look at the recaps that people write to get an idea of where to look for a certain scene. However, since a person can jump to a certain "chapter" (as labeled at the Rewind) to get to a scene quickly, and, since after one has passed (to the right) a separation between the chapters another commercial plays, if recaps were organized by chapter, it could help a person more easily pinpoint where in the episode something happens with less "delays". So, will headers, like "Act 1", etc., be added to recaps? ETA that I just noticed that the recap for Flight or Fight doesn't tell what happens in the order it airs. I was attempting to get a screencap of the piano music, and, going by the recap, the scene would happen after Maury leaves his apartment, which isn't the case. I guess the recaps aren't thought of as "play-by-play commentary"?'ROESian
  • The episode summaries generally do go in the order things happened. If something is wrong with one of the summaries, feel free to change it. As for breaking the summaries up by "act", I personally would think it'd be a good idea if only to break up the page a bit--those summaries get really long and a few headers here and there might make things a lot easier. However, that's a ton of edits and it makes the TOC much longer on those pages. I'm also not sure if it's necessary. Another option is to add a <span id="Act 1">and</span><div style="display:none;"> to each section. It kind of defeats the purpose, so I don't endorse it, but I'm just trying to think of other options. However, that's not a decision I would feel comfortable making.     • I think when they said it, they were mostly talking about when I'm appearing on air. (We'll see if I can deftly squeeze in a reference--that is, if I'm not so nervous that I stutter all over myself!) As for the trivia, I'll just mention at the beginning that if they want to mention the site, that'd be great.       • Oh, I gotcha. I thought this "plug your site all you want" was specific to the trivia. So, yeah, they probably already have the format all planned out and it probably doesn't include the source site, but if they want to include it that'd be great. No big deal either way, I'm just very pleased we can help out. • To create the look of the Hollywood sign in The Kindness of Strangers, the Art Dept. created an 8-foot partial "O" and surrounded it by blue screen. Stargate Digital, the Heroes visual effects company, then shifted the footage into a Hollywood sign plate that they created.
• Most of the foreign locations are either shot in blue screen (ie. Russia) or on mock-up sets built on the Los Angeles lot (ie. Irish pub, Montreal, Honduras, Haiti).
• In trying to find the right glasses for Mr. Bennet, Heroes producers had Jack Coleman try on over 30 pairs.
• The original pilot, released with the Heroes Season One DVD, was to be called In His Own Image.
• In a press conference, Tim Kring said that the character of Hiro did not exist in the original script for the pilot. Kring, looking at the other characters who reluctantly discovered their powers, decided he needed a character who enjoyed his abilities and embraced them enthusiastically.
• The BBC has modified the content of Heroes for their viewers. For example, they removed the scene with Claire and her mother at the dinner table, where Claire says, "I walked through fire and didn't get burned" from the BBC2 showing. Also, they have introduced a new character, Bridget Bailey, an attorney who can perceive the history of an object, in their version of the online experience.
